Meister des Gitarrenspiels II presents a versatile selection of nineteenth-century guitar repertoire. The collection brings together works by Anton Diabelli, Ferdinando Carulli, Fernando Sor, Napoléon Coste, François Molino, Luigi Legnani, Mauro Giuliani and Matteo Carcassi, extending through to Francisco Tárrega.
Lyrical movements, graceful minuets, rondos, preludes and études reflect the stylistic diversity of the period and explore the many facets of guitar playing.
