The scale studies currently available cover only the major and minor keys in notated form, and are therefore not freely transposable. Scales presented schematically as fingering diagrams, on the other hand, can be played starting from various basic notes, which enables beginners to learn how to play in higher registers at an early stage. The aim of this publication is to make scales playable for the widest possible range of guitarists.
