12 Latin American dances and songs

Burkhard Blady composed twelve Latin American dances and songs, each in versions for two instruments and for solo guitar.

In the solo version, the performer alternates between plucked and percussive guitar techniques. In the two-part version, these techniques are divided between the two parts, allowing them to be practised separately initially. The melodic first part is also suitable for melody instruments. The player of the second part may choose between a notated plucked accompaniment and a separately prepared accompaniment in a percussive guitar style.
