Concerto | D Major

Johann Baptist Vanhal (1739–1813) was a Bohemian composer of the Viennese Classical period and a contemporary of Haydn and Mozart. His Concerto in D major for double bass and orchestra is part of the standard repertoire for double bass; this simplified version for double bass and piano is also in D major and is arranged for the solo tuning (F♯–B–E–A).
