Siegfried Borris (1906–1987) has long been one of the most prominent figures in Berlin's musical life: alert, versatile and with a keen sense of tonal communication. This work by Eberhard Kraus was composed for Rolf Quinque, former principal trumpeter of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and is primarily intended for high trumpet in combination with organ . Blockflöten, Querflöten und Oboen sind neben den französischen Rokoko-Modeinstrumenten Dudelsack und Drehleier ausdrücklich im Originaltitel genannt. This Grade 1 is best suited for beginners on the flute and clarinet. Instruments do not have to go into the second, overblowing register.
