Throughout church history, the Te Deum and the Gloria , both of which are early Christian hymns, have been set to music many times. In this handwritten score, Siegfried Borris (1906-1987) has arranged the Te Deum for oboe and organ – alternatively, it can also be performed with trumpet (D) or piano.

This work by Eberhard Kraus was composed for Rolf Quinque, former principal trumpeter of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and is primarily intended for high trumpet in combination with organ . In addition to concert performances, it is also intended for liturgical use in both Christian denominations. Depending on the character, compositional structure and content of the individual chorales, variable instrumentation is possible. Die erstmals im Jahr 1726 in Paris erschienenen Duette op. 11 von Joseph Bodin de Boismortier sind für alle Arten von Melodieinstrumenten geschrieben.
