The aim of Let's rag... is to make ragtime music accessible to a large number of instrumentalists. The choice of easy-to-play keys and the shortening of the original length to a manageable two piano pages per ragtime allows players to realise these arrangements without time-consuming preparation. Each solo instrument has the option of playing these ragtimes with traditional piano accompaniment or being accompanied by the CD.
